As a parent of a son with special needs, this story breaks my heart, at the same time, galit.
Grabe nangyari, but what makes it even more painful is knowing that families like theirs are still being failed by a system that should be protecting them. Mental health care, proper treatment, and support for people with disabilities should not be privileges reserved for those who can afford them. They are basic human needs. As a parent, I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to fight for your child’s well-being and have nowhere to turn.
I’m sharing this because these stories deserve to be heard. We cannot keep failing the most vulnerable among us.
