Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was a prominent Pakistani politician and the first woman to head a democratic government in a Muslim-majority country. Born on June 21, 1953, in Karachi, she was the daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Pakistan's former Prime Minister.
