Thoughts on Magnus Norway Chess performance?
I know that some idiots are going to say he's washed, so just for you guys: He's not, grow up.
Now that Norway Chess finished, what do you guys think caused Magnus to play so bellow compared to his usual level?
Watching his games, he didn't actually play that badly in my (1400 lol) opinion.
But he just forgot that there was a clock? It was so weird, Magnus is usually the best at managing his time.
Is it just the new time format? It can't be JUST that right? He took crazy long to make his opening moves, I can't imagine that being related to the time format.
Maybe he prepared even less than usual? Maybe he was feeling a bit sick? Ig that's all just conjecture though.
