Do Maxicare PCC doctors accept lab results from outside laboratories?
Hi everyone! 😊 Has anyone here had experience doing lab tests outside of Maxicare PCCs?
For example, after a consultation at a PCC, the doctor requests lab tests. Do the PCC doctors accept lab results from outside laboratories during the follow-up consultation (under Prima Consult Prepaid Health Card)?
I'm asking because there are affordable diagnostic centers near us, so I'm wondering if it would be cheaper for my mom to have her labs done there instead of at Maxicare PCC. Or is it actually better to have the labs done at the PCC since I read that Prima members get discounted/member rates for laboratory tests? Any experiences or advice would be appreciated. Thanks! 🙏
