Is Anyone Else Sad About The Move To More Digital Games Over Physical?
I say this because, when I was younger, going out to town I'd love looking around at the games, eventually picking one up that I had no clue about just the "front cover and back cover looked cool" then as I was driving home in the back of my parents car I would take the wrapping off (still so nostalgic) open the case and see the games book! I'd read it all the way until I got home, rushed to my Xbox and put it in. When I think about gaming now, with this move to Digital... That's all gone, and I feel like there's less chance of that tangible nostalgia for kids of this generation. ("I remember the days of going onto the Xbox store, looking around and finding Warzone") it just doesn't have the same sort of feel to it. Skyrim, was one of those games you would read the book in the case for hours. I've started to hold on to my Xbox 360 physical games now, in the hopes that I'll never lose that nostalgia since it is right there for me.
What do you all think?
And what does nostalgia look like for you when it comes to physical Vs digital
