Mayor, A highest rank personal in any municipal city office. If I got a chance to be a mayor of my city as assigned activity #mayorofthecity #feelgood by
My city is not a high populated one but still around One million people living in it . The city name is "Rahim yar Khan, southern Pakistan". As a mayor I will have three priorities.
Sanitation .
The CWC department is totally collapsed and city looks like a barrack of prisoners. I will rehabilitate the CWC department with immediate effect and will hire new manpower with only one task " neat & clean City, A model for others". A huge plantation campaign also will be launch to make city green so the temperature in summer will harm less .
Fruit & vegetable market.
Currently the fruit and vegetable market situated in center of the city which causing huge disturbance in traffic. Farmers bring theirs fruits and vegetables from sorroundings to sell in market. Th e timing of Market are early morning and same time we have for our educational institutions which mess up things badly. I will choose a vacant space outside the city for green market and will shift it their. The city centre will go clean and traffic will flow smoothly even in peak hours.
Shelter home .
I will get approval from provincial government for a shelter home. Homeless, elderly people and orphans need our care most. I can't see a elderly begging for meals or he is doing hard work for earning a plate of rice . Let them give honor , respect and peace. So shelter home will serve them on all the expanse from municipal account. I think our charity account, Baitul Maal , can manage it easily if I keep strong monitoring.
That's all I have my very early priorities as a mayor of my city. Thanks
