Is it worth it?
What's everyone's experience with a commercial market for work?
I'm a software developer by trade and I'm considering building out a custom drone automation system (i.e. firmware, post-processing) tied to a client-facing website for various tasks (realtor videos, property maps, agriculture, etc.).
To be clear: The entire goal of this would be to automate 90% of it to create quick, repeatable work, such as mapping for-sale property lots in the country, etc.
The question is whether there's really that much demand for this stuff. I've seen posts on here saying most farmers, realtors, etc., don't see a lot of value in what the services provide.
For context, I live in a mostly rural area (lot of smaller farms), mixed with residential + a few modest-but-not-large cities nearby.
