Faustino fails his last GM norm again despite his good score in Menorca Open
Faustino is playing in Menorca Open and has a score of 5/6, which, in the remaining rounds, can make him a champion after round 9. The issue is that in the first 6 rounds and in the seventh he will play tomorrow, he will not have played against a GM. As a rule, he has to play against at least three GMs. So he has lost his chances of earning his last GM norm. Interestingly, in top 20, there are only two players who havent played against a GM.
