Well, unfortunately, having a new thermocouple installed did not fix the pilot light on the furnace/heater, which means next they will have to replace the gas control valve - and there go the expenses even higher for the repair.
Only budget I can pull any money out of is the food budget. I was beginning to get too fat anyway.

At least you have a source to draw from. I can't get the car fixed that my friend wrecked a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I don't have the money for it; my insurance company covered the damage to the other party's vehicle, but not mine, because I don't have comprehensive coverage.
I could buy another car with that amount of money.
