Just like strawberries, we don’t stay perfect forever—and maybe we were never meant to. Some days we’re sweet, full, and easy to love, and other days we feel bruised, overlooked, or a little too soft for the world we’re in. But that doesn’t change the fact that we still grew, we still carried ourselves through seasons we didn’t choose, and we still hold something good inside us. Not everyone will appreciate the effort it takes to become who we are, and not everyone will handle us with care—but that’s where we learn. We are not less because we’ve been touched roughly by life. We are still worthy, still meaningful, still enough—even in our most imperfect state.
