30, unemployed for 7 months and looking for a genuine WFH opportunity — need some guidance
I want to share something and genuinely ask for some advice from you guys.
I lost my job in January because of an unfortunate incident, and I’m still in the recovery process. I’m 30 now, and honestly, I’m not from a strong academic background or a wealthy/business family. I’m also from a non-IT background and have never worked for a big company or MNC like many of you have.
My maximum salary so far has been around ₹15,000 per month.
Sometimes I see people saying, “I don't want to do this job because the salary is too low” or “this job isn't good enough.” I understand that everyone has their own struggles and expectations, but being unemployed has made me look at things very differently.
I’ve been unemployed for more than 7 months now. Where I live, most local firms offer very limited opportunities, so I’m specifically looking for a genuine work-from-home job.
I’ve also failed in several interviews recently, which has made things even more difficult. But I still want to keep trying and get back to work.
If there are any HRs, recruiters, business owners or people who know about genuine WFH openings suitable for someone from a non-IT background, I would genuinely appreciate any recommendations or referrals.
What would you suggest I do in my situation? If you’ve gone through a similar period of unemployment, how did you get yourself back on track?
Any genuine advice or job leads would mean a lot to me. #local source
