Why am I not seeing Vandwellers outside of their van?
Perhaps its my limited data set and experience. Maybe its not true...but....I've seen a lot more vandwellers who stay inside the van than I expected to. Case in point; I'm right now camping near a van, and have been here for 5 hours (4 to 9pm so far). They have not once stepped out of the van. 2 days ago, I was near a van from 3pm to 7am (I went to sleep about 10). Not once did I hear or see them out of the vehicle. In both cases I know they are in there (dogs barking and lights on)
First, is this more common than what is expected? or am I incorrect.
Second....Why? what is the thought process of driving to some nice place and not taking advantage of the outdoors?
