Looking for suggestions on entry level books about Europa

Apologies if this is considered a basic question. I did read the rules and do some research, but I value the opinions of enthusiasts and experts (y'all) over Amazon reviews and Google searches.

My aim is largely background info for writing science fiction. I like books because I can have a physical copy, but I'm open to scientific papers if there are some you recommend. I'm imagining the Europan seafloor as a setting, but if there's another body with oceans that excites you, I'm happy to hear about it. I'll likely hit Google Scholar if I don't get any suggestions from this post.

The top three books I've found on the topic are *The Mission* by David Brown, *Alien Oceans* by Kevin Hand, and *Unmasking Europa* by Richard Greenberg.

*Alien Oceans* seems like the best bet, as it seems to be the most focused on the possibility of life and doesn't solely address Europa. *Unmasking Europa* seems like it might have the most raw data but be somewhat dry. *The Mission* seems more narrative focused and less focused on the science, plus it's 50% longer than the other two. My current plan is to start with *Alien Oceans* and then try whatever y'all suggest.

I have a background in English as well as building maintenance, so my vocabulary is decent, but I've never touched Astronomy. My favorite Sci Fi novel is *the Forever War* by Joe Haldeman, with *Sirens of Titan* landing close behind and *Starfish* by Peter Watts landing in my top ten. Honorable mention to the video game *Dead Space*, as well as every other Vonnegut novel.
