Can I just upload files to Backblaze without necessarily keeping the files on my computer?

I was reading some posts regarding backups. But I think what I need is more in the lines of cold storage.

From what I was able to gather after creating an account on Backblaze it seems like I need a client on my device, and that client keeps the data backed up to the servers.

However that's not exactly what I want. I want to just upload the files to the cloud after I'm done with the RAW's and keep them in cold storage.

Currently I must have around four or five terabytes of RAW files scattered through several hard drives, that whilst I don't need them, I don't want to delete them. I also don't want to deal with hard drives, I've lost some photos already due improper storage or accidents, and it's something I would prefer to avoid.

I'm a hobbyist so I don't need a professional solution. As a matter of fact Google Drive would be perfect to me. However the prices for anything above 1TB seem too steep to me regarding Google Drive. The same goes to OneDrive.

B2 Cloud Storage on Backblaze seems like what I want (not sure), but again, 6 USD per TB feels a little steem when compared to 9 USD unlimited.

Am I understanding this wront? Are there other options?
