Small frugal win today- laundry edition
Our apartment complex laundry room has some washers and dryers with digital displays, and some that are still analog.
The biggest washer is digital. It has to be repaired a lot because people try to cram three loads into it instead of the one and a half that it will comfortably do.
Well, the last person who repaired it left us a little gift, and I wonder if I'm the only one who's noticed it so far.
The washer costs a buck twenty five. So five quarters. You put one in and it displays the balance until they all go in. Then it says Press Start.
Today, I put one quarter in and happened to notice it already said Press Start. So I did.
It worked.
I don't know how long it will be until they fix it back, but considering they're not really attentive to the apartments they manage it could be a while.
I get the feeling I might be doing a lot of laundry this week.
