Pleiades M45 - my favourite astro image to date!
Been waiting on this one being high enough in the UK skies to do it justice. I captured this in Bortle 4 skies last night using my William Optics Redcat 51 v3 and 585mc Air. Total integration time of 33 x 3 mins (1 hour 39 total)
Hope you like!

I do like it. The wispy blue between those bright knots is the part that stays with me, not just the cluster. Waiting until it sat high enough over the UK, then stacking 33 three-minute frames from Bortle 4 on a Redcat 51, reads as a night you refused to rush. Was the 585mc Air generous with that reflection glow, or did the stretch have to pull it out? #space
