Is it worth it to learn assembly?
I’ve heard this joke countless times that “if you can read assembly then everything is open source”, but I was wondering is it actually true? I wanna make my knowledge of DSA strong to the point where I don’t have to think for more than a couple of seconds to realise how to tackle a problem and I was thinking of going back to revising DSA. Then I read somewhere from a few individuals that learning assembly made them better at DSA and algorithms and I was thinking maybe giving it a shot. Like realistically is it actually worth the hassle or not? I am willing to put as many hours into it if the reward is that my DSA and algorithm skills are gonna improve, so would guys recommend it to someone who has yet to have any real working experience as a programmer?
