Housing Problem
I am subletter of an apartment and have been living here for 1 year. The building is managed by a company. i have a contract with the current tenant and the company knows that I live there since the day i moved in.
Now I started the procedure to take over through my current tenant. Send the application folder, payslips everything fine.
Now the company calls the tenant and asks if I can speak German, tenant says he speaks not really good German.
The company asks: How is your subletter then understanding the contract?
She replies she would help me or I would use translate in case I do not understand what is written.
After one week they call her again and ask the same thing. I told her say he understands it, or he has family and friends that will translate it or I will send it to a lawyer or translator to translate, Now I am waiting!
Is there any measures I can take? The contract is supposed to start in September.
