Dmitri Shostakovich can be said to be the Mozart of Russian classical music. His works show intelligence, wit, and more often satirize current affairs. Of course, there are also politically correct works. However, despite his flaws, he is still the most important composer in Russia, especially his symphonies and string quartets, which embody the His musical life and creative mileage. It is really not something that ordinary people can achieve, and even Tchaikovsky may not be able to reach his height.
