Question about headshots for yourself as professional photographer
In general, I've always taken my own portraits for any sort of professional usage, but I'm considering hiring another photographer to take my portrait (I haven't found someone yet). Does it feel a bit dishonest to have a photo portrait of yourself taken by a different photographer? I would never claim ownership over that portrait, but I'm not going to around providing an immediate disclaimer whenever anyone contacts me for photography services either.
Like, if a web designer had a different web designer design their website, that feels dishonest to me. But if I meet a barber, I'm fairly certain another barber cuts their hair, so that doesn't feel dishonest.
