First Time Tourist Tips
All,
I am visiting Germany for the first time in a couple weeks, and would like some local tips on social norms/interactions.
When I am not sight seeing, I plan on finding some local bars and want to strike up conversation with some locals. Everything I read, this is not easy.
What are some tips to get into conversations with German natives? Buy them a beer? Start it with my less than stellar German language skills? Any help is greatly appreciated, as I would like to immerse myself in the local culture as much as possible.
