Hi everyone
I’ve wanted to get into programming since middle school, but the idea of coding a specific function for an app or just tweaking an interface never really appealed to me.
Lately, the idea of working as a programmer but for a scientific purpose has really been on my mind. I mean programming *for* science: things like simulating chemical reactions, molecules, physics or biology models, and so on. It sounds amazing to me, but I don't know if I'm describing a unicorn.
What do you know about this? Is it a viable path? Is there a market for it? What degree should I study? Let me know what you think!
