The King and the Spider
A king lost a battle and was hiding in a cave. In despair, he saw a spider trying to make its own web. It kept trying to reach the ceiling and fell. The king counted that after the ninth fall, it succeeded for the tenth time and started making a web.
The king thought that if a small spider does not give up after failing ten times, why should I? He gathered an army again, fought and got his kingdom back.
Lesson: Failure is just a consequence, not the final outcome. Real failure is when you stop trying.
