First of all, I need to clarify that I'm not even looking for a brand new one. I'm only looking on ebay, facebook marketplace etc to find a used one. Leatherman even offers a selection of used items on their website but the service isn't available in my country unfortunately.
My question is, are they really worth it over just buying a different brand that it a quarter of the price or just buying individually every tool they have?
The main this is obviously the pliers, a knife is always useful but I genuinely don't think they are worth it that much.
I'm studying agriculture and I have garden in our house's yard, so I'm constantly making fences, installing beams for vining plants etc. We also do practice in uni. We have a farm with animals, vineyard, a big vegetable garden, flowery greenhouse, tree greenhouse etc.
I love the warranty they offer and what it stands for, but buying a leatherman feels more like a luxury rather than something that will make your life easier and is worth the price, but I'm hearing everyone everywhere saying how good they are, so I'm a bit confused and would just like to hear some feedback #lifestyle source
