# Help guide me into choosing correct used model for my elderly father.

Need to replace my elderly father's PC. He's 75 and is actually pretty good at using the computer, and spends his mornings drinking coffee, reading news and his emails, watching streaming services, and ordering products online.

I bought a pc off Newegg. I'm currently returning it as It's not really a good fit. 220$ but full-size desktop, which isn't really needed. I7 6700, which, as I understand it, doesn't really run Windows 11 without some work. Which I wouldn't want my dad to have to figure out. 16 GB DDR4, which and 256 GB SSD, which these also have the same. only benefits I see are more slots for upgrades, which for my fathers pc will not be needed. I originally planned to throw one of my extra SSDs, a 1-2 TB HDD I have lying around, along with a graphics card. But looking at the power supply I doubt that would even be wise, its 280. Not sure what expansion capabilities ThinkCentre's have.

I got this idea while taking my dad to a doctor's appointment this morning and seeing what they were using in their patient rooms.,

Would these used ThinkCentres in the 100ish range on eBay be a good alternative? Most in this range seem capable of Windows 11 and at least equal stats to the pc i bought for 220
