My entry #OvercomingSelfDoubt #feelgood
Oftentimes self doubt is experienced by us as being a human. This happened when I was a new graduate and first time to work in a factory. I was tasked by the factory manager to handle a project which include drawing of plans, materials and labor cost estimates, program of works preparation, and in-charge for the construction.
Actually, the way I looked at it, it was hard and complicated. I was then worried because I had no experience that time. I'm wondering why such task was assigned to me. I kept on thinking about it especially before going to sleep. Another thing was that if declined it, it could mean loosing my job.
That was wherein self doubt also came in. There were many things that came into my mind that time. I had a question whether I could do it or not. Or whether I would accept it or not. But finally I accepted it. A courage and a positive thoughts got into me. Eventually, it was finished and became operational. And it made me more confident to handle any task again.
The project was a Sugarcane Unloader. It rakes the sugarcane from the railroad cars into the sugarcane conveyor. It was in a Sugarcane Mill, a factory that processes sugarcane into sugar.
