Another "out in the yard" photo. We have a ton of native Nootka Rose - the roots can be 18 feet deep, which is great for stabilizing a steep slope or bank. They have beautiful pink fragrant flowers and very sharp thorns. I've been trimming some back and clearing out dead branches (ouch!!!)
