Epilepsy is a neurological condition that causes repeated seizures due to unusual electrical activity in the brain. Today I learned that seizures are not always dramatic—some can be brief staring spells or small movements that people might not even notice. Awareness is important because many people still misunderstand epilepsy, leading to fear, stigma, or treating those affected unfairly. When people understand the condition better, they can respond calmly and offer proper help instead of panic. Supporting someone with epilepsy can be as simple as learning basic first aid, staying with them during a seizure, and making sure they feel safe and included. Most importantly, kindness, patience, and not judging them for their condition can make a huge difference in their confidence and daily life. 💜
