Do you know of any connections, allegories or items mentioned in literature that are focused on changing/witnessing experiences?
Hello! I know my question is abstract, but I will try to explain it clearly.
I'm referring to different spectrums of what an experience is. It could be an induced out-of-body experience or something that alters the person that their reality shifts in some way. Something like Alice in Wonderland where different items cause her to shift her experience with the world she is familiar with to something that she didn't know was possible before (Growing/shrinking in size when in her world that would never be possible)
I am curious about what other stories have these elements. Could also be from mythology; the fate-weaving Norns that influence someone's fate and therefore wield the experiences of someone's life.
