What is it with people saying Poland is about to become France 2.0?
Since it has been announced that the opposition is leading in the exit poll, some american websites, PiS followers on twitter saying Poland will be destroyed by immigration just like in France.
Honestly I’m appalled by this comparison. I was born and lived in France my whole life and the two countries have nothing in common?
France has a big past with colonialism so immigrants that come from Africa is tied to historical reason. Just like in the US. I doubt immigrants will flock this way to Poland as they say it. Plus, Poland already has Ukrainian immigrants but I guess to them this does not count as they’re white.
Also, Poland compared to Sweden and France does not offer the range of social benefits that are in these countries, plus it’s not a eurozone. For most immigrants Poland has been used just as an entrance to Europe.
Also didn’t PiS let more immigrants enter the country and most of all wasn’t there recently a drama about illegally selling visas?
Do these people have any idea of what they are saying or was the PiS propaganda so effective they forgot to think for themselves and just swallow whatever comes from this party? It seems to me they are the equivalent of Marine LePen and just say buzzwords to scare people and get them to vote for them because they are protecting the country against a greater evil, which I have yet to see.
