Mafia Alternates
Looking to play Mafia at my birthday dinner party for a group of 12-15 people but would love for ideas where it can be adapted further to make it more interactive:
a. Not everyone knows everyone so I had thought having some simple secret missions being assigned to some players would make it more fun, and allow people to mingle/talk to each other
b. Anyway to keep the dead involved so the game isn’t simply over for them as soon as they die
c. Doesn’t take more than 90 minutes, ideally could wrap it up in under that.
Is there anything like that that already exists? I ran a murder mystery last time around with a much bigger group (20+ people) and whilst it was fun, it ended up being incredibly stressful for me and I wasn’t able to enjoy it as much. I do love a good murder mystery/social deduction game but just want to keep things a bit more simple so I can enjoy too!
