Need advice for impulsivity and concentration in general.
So small context: I started playing around two years ago and I was on fire, learning openings, strategies this and that...but eventually that fire faded out and I just played randomly wich led me to being stuck on 800 Elo for basically a year or so.
Until I finally got to 900 and promised myself if I got to 1000 ELO id try to go back to studying the game because I'm terrified of falling out again.
And here am I, 1000 elo! But I still struggle a lot with concepts like openings (I've been using the fried liver opening for ages) middle games and mainly impulsivity, like 90% of my movements are on pure impulse because it genuinely stress me out to stop and think.
But I know chess is all about patience beside strategy, so any advice on those things? Especially if you know any channel that could help me (for now im watching Gotham chess). #games source
