I know it's not top of the line. I've just overclocked it? 😱 Too see if I can get the node and ads to run again. I find it funny that it ran on win7, win8, etc., no problem, actually lots of problems (until all my old laptops died) I just don't understand. I guess I'll install Linux as a second boot to try to run Tangled (or a virtual box?). I'm beginning to understand why everyone gives up! I have seen many posts on this particular issue.

You don't need to overclock it.
Probably your firewall is blocking NG tangled browser and node.js
Try to allow them on firewall settings on both private and public network.
Port forwarding settings on your router can also help ( need precautions 🚨)
All the node issues including balance, reset , disconnection, restart, ads , synch issues, old double spent transactions, hibernation.... Well am tired of complaining to be ignored , good luck man

it was 3 to 6 updates ago. it works for a day. then resets for a lot of days. then work for a day. resets or something?
