Something ive been noticing every year is how much solid older stuff randomly shows up in online stores around spring
March to april its almost like a reset happens, im suddenly seeing random durable electronics too, stuff like older sony receivers, panasonic radios, even old thinkpads that look like they’ve been sitting in someone’s basement for years but still work fine, i grabbed a used logitech g series keyboard and it was so cheap and it feels better built than half the new ones.
i occasionally resell stuff so i end up checking listings, carhartt, older polo, workwear that’s clearly been used but still has life left, feels like people just start clearing out garages and storage all at once.
I do a bit of resale on so i end up checking listings pretty often and it gets messy when half the comps are already sold so you cant really line things up properly or see everything at once so ive been using Ubuyfirst which helped me keep track of listings which has been very helpful.
I thought it was interesting how much of this built to last type stuff resurfaces all at once instead of getting tossed, curious if anyone else notices this pattern.
