Hot take, but I think I'll like the Mighty Machines blind-box more than other Blind Box series.
Disclaimer: I mean no insult to traditional CMF fans; I'm not insulting you, but I don't like most CMF.
They solve my woes with a lot of CMF lines, including:
* No matter what, they always has the same build process, even the F1 cars
* Relying heavily on the identity of the minifig, meaning that if you only care about one minifig in the lineup, you're only gonna get what you want 1/16th of t he time.
* Artificial scarcity and the "some figures are more equal than others"
* You're paying 5 dollars for a minifig with some extra flourish. That, or one of several identical tiny cars.
Meanwhile, these little guys are all winners and cute little desk toys. They aren't all iconic characters nor do they sport fancy paint jobs, but they're good at what they're supposed to be: tiny little construction vehicles. And they aren't just clones of each other either.
