Can we talk about the Laborde's and WYES?
Do they own WYES? How do they have such a decades long stranglehold on it?
I appreciate everything they've done for the station, and cataloging our culture, but are they so high on "Member Berries" that they forget people under the age of 50 exist in this town?
It would be nice to get fresh perspectives on some of their current event programming, but more specifically in the documentary field, they stopped at the 70's and that's it, save for a World's Fair doc. But there's a "New Orleans in the 80's", "90's", "2000's" waiting to be explored that I would like to see.
