There is no such thing as a Christian child and a Muslim…

There is no such thing as a Christian child and a Muslim child. There is only a child of Christian parents and a child of Muslim parents. A child is not mature enough to decide which religion to follow, and it is unjust to assign a child to any religion whatsoever.

We shouldn’t label kids with a religion before they can even pick out their own clothes.
The idea is that just because your parents believe something, it doesn’t mean you’re born "belonging" to that belief. He thinks it’s better to let kids grow up, learn how to think for themselves, and then decide what they believe—if anything—once they’re old enough to actually understand the options.
It’s the difference between inheriting a label from your family and choosing an identity for yourself.
Thanks big bro🫶🫶🫶

A great idea, and there are those who have done that, that is, when they matured mentally they followed the religion that they arrived at through their own ideas. Thank you, my sister, for the idea.👍

My pleasure bro, in our religion a child won't undergo baptism unless he reached the right age to decide for himself and he had been done with indoctrination, to fully internalize the doctrines.

Have you heard, my sister, about the travels of Cousteau? He was a Christian man who traveled across seas and oceans to discover the greatness of the Creator. He was amazed by what he saw. He was over seventy years old, and finally he adopted Islam as his religion and submitted to the Creator and His greatness.

Such a meaningful and fair thought! It’s right that kids shouldn’t be labeled with a religion yet, they deserve to discover and choose their own beliefs when they’re older. Well said.

i grew up, without any hold from being a Christian, mom just told me that this things are good blah blah blah and those are bad and never to do such ., very simple, but yes we pray, everyday with the holy rosary and the bible in it ... but religion isn't that a big deal to us, but the values that shaped us.

Yes, these things are bad and these things are good. They stem from what the religion requires, and these values preserve religion and work. Religion is worship, and our religion stems from what we found our fathers and grandfathers doing in terms of traditions and customs.👍
