Once, I faced a significant moment of self-doubt when I was preparing for a dance performance. Despite my love for dancing, I had never performed in front of an audience before. As the date approached, anxiety started creeping in. I questioned whether I was good enough and feared that I might forget the steps or embarrass myself in front of people.
The night before the performance, I sat in my room, rehearsing the routine over and over, but the nagging voice of doubt was still there. I felt like I should back out and avoid the risk of failure. However, deep down, I remembered all the hours I had practiced and the joy dancing brought me. I decided to channel that energy instead of fear.
On the day of the performance, I took a deep breath and reminded myself that it was an opportunity to share something I loved with others. When the music started, I felt the adrenaline rush, and I focused on the rhythm instead of the audience. Each move became a celebration of my hard work and passion, and as I danced, the doubt melted away.
The experience taught me that self-doubt can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to dictate my actions. What truly matters is the courage to step out of my comfort zone and embrace challenges. I walked off that stage with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that I had faced my fears and conquered them.
I hope my story encourages others to recognize that while doubt is a part of life, it’s our resilience and determination that truly define us.

So proud of you mam. I also remember exactly on my first performance with my band in front of people during our culminating activity, I felt the same but when my drummer stared to give the que, I know that it's time to put myself to shame or impress the people I front of me. While nervous is overwhelming and my my hand is shivering on my guitar I can hear the screaming of the people excited and I feel elated and everything is history when I felt the excitement everybody is headbanging and I turn my nervousness into a more exciting feeling of entertaining our audience. Our last song brought me into deep satisfaction when most of them are demanding for one more last song to play. Oh, the memories...
