As a homebody, I have few hobbies that really contribute to my well-being, providing moments of relaxation, inspiration, and connection with different aspects of my life, including creativity, spirituality, and personal growth.
These are:
1. Daydreaming. 😶🌫️ Yes, daydreaming. I enjoy letting my imagination wander and creating vivid yet somewhat unrealistic scenarios in my mind. It's a way for me to escape reality for a while and explore different possibilities and ideas.
2. Listening to music (including Christian songs): 🎧 Music is a significant part of my life. I find comfort, inspiration, and emotional release through various genres of music, especially Christian songs. They uplift my spirit and help me connect with my faith on a deeper level.
3. Sleeping (when not reading): 💤 Getting a good sleep is essential for my well-being. It's a time when I can rest, recharge, and prepare for the next day. If I'm not engrossed in a good article or engagement, I prioritize quality sleep to feel refreshed and energized.
4. Trying out cheap dessert recipes: 🍮 Experimenting with simple dessert recipes is a fun and delicious hobby of mine. It allows me to be creative in the kitchen without the pressure of perfection. I enjoy the process of baking or cooking something sweet and indulgent, which brings me a sense of satisfaction and joy without overthinking.
5. Listening to homilies: 😇 Listening to sermons is my sanctuary, a means to lessen the ill thoughts that occasionally plague me. It feels like a kind of recompense for those times when I neglect my duty to attend church.
