Testaments and inheritance
Hi all,
I've been leaving in Germany since 2012. I've been working since 2014 and I have all my savings in here as either bank account, investment depots, private pension and employer pension.
I am worried about what exactly happens if I just drop dead tomorrow.... I live alone, have no family or relatives in Germany.
Which makes me want to write a will/testament just in case. As far as I understand a testament itself is simple to write. However I wonder what happens if none of the beneficiaries are neither German, in Germany nor speak German.
I was wondering if someone has had any experiences setting up a will/ testament and what actions do you recommend. For example, I've seen there are Erbrecht Anwälte that offer consultations on the topic. Has anyone had experience stting this up?
