What does this sentence mean?
"Do you know that there people who refuse to die? Have you ever heard a woman are criedd out "Never!" at the moment of death? I have. And I realized then that I could not get used to it. I was young and my disgust thought that it was directed against the very order of the world."
This is from Albert Camus' The Plague published by penguin books.
In the last sentence what is directed aganist the order of the world? Death? Not accepting death? And what does it mean by "my disgust thought"?
