A plane crossed the eclipsed Sun above Valencia, Spain
Captured from my balcony in Valencia during the total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026. I was already photographing the eclipse when a plane crossed the Sun at just the right moment. Easily one of the luckiest shots I’ve ever taken.
Camera: Sony Alpha 7C
Lens: Tamron 150–500mm
Focal length: Around 480mm
Exposure: 1/320 sec, f/6.3, ISO 640
