Teen Son Coming to Israel
Shalom chaverim. My teenage son is coming to Israel on Monday with a Jewish youth group - so very organized and safety-oriented tour. I know intellectually Israel is safe (I have been five times myself), but with the news coming out of Iran right now, I’m a bit worried. Do Israelis anticipate the current strikes against Bahrain will start against Israel? What’s the word on the street?
Otherwise, I am so excited for him. He has been once before, but he was younger and this trip will certainly be more meaningful. This will be a three week trip and I know there’s lots of stuff going on like Maccabiah and the Israeli hockey league series (he’s a hockey player and has been following the Israeli league a bit). That gives me a little peace of mind.
Anyway, sorry for my rambling. Thank you all so much and I love my Israeli mishpacha.
