I cant post the picture bc it wont let me but i think I’ve discovered a flaw in a state exam (which is completely pedantic for these purposes but caught my attention) but the question asks you to label parts of the brain, and it labels the large bulge at the base of the brain as the medulla oblongata and the smaller bulge below it has no label. I would think that the pons was the large bulge. It is a very basic diagram and the pons isn’t even on our course and I am only aware of it’s existence when i was learning how to draw diagrams of the brain. Just interested to know if I’m wrong? #animals source
