I want to install curtains on all the windows of my car (a Nissan wagon/estate) using a snap fastener system. The male snaps get fixed onto the car, and the female snaps are sewn onto the curtains. I had this exact setup in a previous van and want to redo it here.
I want to attach the male snaps not into the metal body, but into the fabric trim inside the cabin, things like the headliner or the fabric covering on the pillars between the windows.
The problem: standard snap fasteners are set with pliers, which requires access to both sides of the material to press them together. Once the snap is inserted into the trim, I only have access from one side, so normal crimping isn't possible.
Would anyone have a snap fastener brand to recommend that works for this kind of one-sided installation? #lifestyle source
