Is it actually bad that I don't downshift through the gears when slowing down?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been driving manual for a bit, but I realized I have a habit that differs from what I see a lot of people talking about online.
When I’m slowing down for a red light or a stop sign, I don’t row down through every single gear (like 5th to 4th to 3rd to 2nd). Instead, I just stay in whatever gear I was cruising in, use the brakes to slow down, and then press the clutch in right before the engine bogs down (usually right before I hit a complete stop).
The only other time I really downshift is if I mistakenly upshifted too early and the engine starts lugging.
Am I ruining my motorcycle by doing this? I always figured that brakes are cheaper to replace than a clutch or syncros, but I see so many videos of people rev-matching down through every gear every time they slow down that it's making me second-guess myself.
Do I need to change my habits, or is my current approach totally fine? Thanks! #motorcycles source
