Did my girlfriend happen to capture a cosmic ray strike on camera?
We are in Yellowstone National Park right now and she captured this at 11:16pm on August 3rd. We know at least for sure that this isn't starlink as we already watched it pass by an hour or so earlier. She captured this on her iPhone 13 Max and we don't think that it's an artifact as nothing else in the photo appears glitched. She also didn't see anything with her own eyes at this time, so we believe this was only observable on camera. Any help is appreciated! :)
