What Senator Imee Marcos Is Saying
1. Alleged Long-Time Drug Use
Imee claims that her brother, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., has used illegal drugs “since we were kids.”
She specifically alleges he’s used marijuana and cocaine.
According to her, his drug use worsened after marriage. She says First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos also uses drugs.
She also accuses their children of being involved in drug use.
She links this alleged addiction to corruption and “very wrong decisions” in governance.
She is urging her brother to “come home” and seek treatment.
