“I don’t like making decisions, I like brainstorming”
This was a legit quote from my boss today during our one on one where they finally confronted me about my obvious frustration with their lack of leadership decisions.
I asked to have clarification when decisions are made (i.e) on projects, written proposals, program outlines etc) and was told this.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! Nothing has been achieved since I started this job four months ago and I am caught in a never ending feedback loop (mostly due to my bosses inane use of AI).
No advice needed just wanted to vent. What is with those (often rich) CEOs that create startups but refuse to face reality or make decisions? Do they know their idea is untenable? Do they just want control over everything? Are they insecure?
