London City Airport incident?
Hi all,
I was flying British Airways today and meant to land at City airport around 12:30pm but was diverted to Stansted. The pilot said there was a “major incident” so after flying around for about 15 min we were then forced to land at Stansted.
I can’t find any information online on Twitter, the news, etc. I received an email from BA apologizing and citing a “temporary runway closure” at City airport.
I’m curious if anyone has any insight on what happened? It seemed quite strange tbh
